The Society recently conducted a productive Scripture Engagement program at Amaveni Methodist Church in Kwekwe, Zimbabwe.
Our Team was in Bulawayo to train the young generation through one of our projects called Faith Comes by Hearing. Young promising leaders came from different Churches to acquire knowledge on how to establish and run effective listening groups. The Church remains key in making the Word of God reach all corners. Romans 10:17
Finally, the day has come. It is happening tomorrow in the City of Kings and Queens (Bulawayo). Affording everyone access to the Bible in their heart language is our mission and this week we focus on making the Ndebele Braille Bible available. Today we are helping people interact with God’s Word in Mt Pleasant Circuit of The United Methodist Church where they are having a Cluster all day revival. Emphasis is on restoration and renewal as this can only be realised when we live the Word of God.

Running has become more than an activity, it is therapeutic and a growing lifestyle. As part of this journey, United Bible Societies (UBS) Global Translation Advisor, Prof. Misheck Nyirenda, together with General Secretary, Elder Nyasha Mafuba, took a reflective walk, looking back on the impact of the 2025 run in support of the Bible cause.

This past weekend of November 15, runners, walkers, families, church groups, and supporters came together for our Zimbabwean Tonga Bible Run, a joyful moment of fellowship, purpose, and unity. What began as a simple call to participate turned into a vibrant gathering filled with energy, encouragement, and a shared passion for making God’s Word accessible to all.
Whether you were on the track, cheering from the sidelines, volunteering, or supporting from home, we are deeply grateful. Your participation helps advance the mission of ensuring the Bible reaches every home, every heart, and every generation.The Bible Run was more than an athletic event, it was a reminder that we journey together in faith. Every step taken symbolised hope, generosity, and the commitment to spreading Scripture to communities that still long to receive it.
